Children of Eurasia met with Paraolympian Alexey Talai

Creative meetings of Children of Eurasia continue! This time we had Alexey Talai visiting.

On 8 May 1999, when Alexey was 16 years old, he struck a mine left in the land after the war. He lost his arms and legs. But! He became a Paralympic, world record holder, businessman, benefactor, motivational speaker, husband and father.

Today Alexey told us about how not to give up, to go against everyone to his dream and about the biggest lessons in his life:

  • My grandfather said: “Granddaughter, every 3-5 years of life it is necessary to reach a new summit!” – Talai tells us, – Now for me the new summit is the Paraolimpian games. The championship of Europe and the World behind, and ahead of the Olympic Games. Just a participant, and at least give up your strength and inspiration! And when will I take the medal? I ‘ll come to visit!
